Shober & Rock, P.C. is a law firm located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania whose principals are Leonard L. Shober and Renee C. Rock. The firm is a successor to the Law Offices of Leonard L. Shober, P.C., established by Leonard L. Shober in 1996 to focus on tax and estate planning. Len had been a practicing lawyer since 1986 and tax lawyer since 1991 and prior to forming his own firm worked "of counsel" to the law firm of McTighe, Weiss, O'Rourke & Milner in Norristown, Pennsylvania. Renee C. Rock has been with the firm since its inception, first as a paralegal, then as an associate attorney and finally as partner. Renee was added as named partner when the firm became Shober & Rock in 2008.

The firm focuses on the needs of the elderly. This focus was brought on, in part, by the needs of the firm's clientele. It became apparent that tax and probate issues were not the main threat faced by our clients. As our clients lived longer and faced longer and longer confinements to long term care facilities, we realized that these medical expenses were far and above the biggest threat to our client's estates. Additionally, the legal morass created by laws seeking to curb the public expense of long term care required clients to seek legal counsel to navigate through the long term care system. By 1998, the firm focused exclusively on the legal issues that faced the elderly in planning for a possible long term care event, including nursing home care, assisted living or at home care. Shober & Rock continues its mission of helping clients face the complex legal and financial hurdles they will encounter in the long term care system.
